Let It Snow

Your mortal coil’s gone

Yet you won’t be forgotten

Farewell. I’ll miss you

One of my fondest memory of you was when you and the gang went to our house for my birthday four years ago.

Being the grown ups that we were, we chose to watch Frozen over beers and pasta. Needless to say, it was a very unusual night. After all, it’s not every day that I get to watch Disney movies and sing along to them with a bunch of 20+-year old guys.

Earlier today, as I got the news that you’ve already passed, the memory that kept resurfacing was you singing “Let it snow, let it snow” in place of the actual words in the song Let it go… You were so happy, so strong, and so full of life.

Now, we’re left with all these words that we haven’t said. You were gone too soon… too soon. I don’t know if we’d be able to let you go.

So long, Lits…
